Communityism

The advantage of most communities is the fact of belonging to that community. Alas! Being marwari I have no such consortium to depend on, at least not in the internet world. We are normally confused to be gujjus, which we are not. Or Jain, uff food is no problem in my state. We are the everybody knows but noone quiet knows us people. We marry within the community however almost never have friends who speak our language. We have no particular inclination or positive bias towards fellow Marus unlike the popular perception. Sometimes I almost feel drawn towards Madrasis (for me anything South of Maharashtra is Madras, states are for their personal distinction, I never sat down to define the difference between Agarwal to Khandelwal). We have no definite food and no particular festival. Our new year is when everybody else decides to celebrate it and yet somehow we managed to rake the most out of tourism. We are no intellectuals of any kind and yet the baniya at every corner of every state.
